Planting trees and building communities

At the North East Community Forest, we do more than plant trees. We work with local communities, young people, businesses and landowners across North East England to create welcoming green spaces that everyone can enjoy.

We support woodland creation, tree and hedgerow planting projects in rural, urban and coastal areas. Every project is different, but each brings real benefits – from capturing carbon and reducing flood risk, to supporting wildlife and improving health and wellbeing.
