Volunteer maintenance day with Living Woods – North Tyneside

Protecting Young Trees – Rising Sun Country Park, led by Living Woods on behalf of North Tyneside Council

Come and join us to protect a new woodland of 1,500 young trees. These trees were planted a few years ago, and are needing full size tree tubes fitted to protect them from deer and hare damage. This new woodland will provide connectivity and a wildlife corridor between other bits of woodland. We have fitted over 50% of the trees with tubes already – and we need your help just to finish the work.
