Caring for your local Tiny Forest – Westerhope
October 21 @ 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Living Woods is running a community event at Westerhope Tiny Forest, Westerhope, NE5 5JH
Come and join us on Wednesday afternoon 21st October from 3:30pm to 6:30pm (OK to drop-in)
There are ten ‘Tiny Forests’ in public places and schools in the north east of England. These are very small woodlands, closely planted, to help increase biodiversity and biomass rapidly.
In the first few years they need a small amount of maintenance and they also provide an opportunity for some citizen science. Come along, drop by, and learn more about your local Tiny Forest, help with simple maintenance tasks, and undertake some citizen science work.
Book your ticket via the Eventbrite link below 👇 OR just drop in to say hi and find out more.
