The North East Comunity Forest will have a stall at this exciting FAMILY DAY showcasing some of the amazing opportunities and work happening in Newcastle relating to many different aspects of nature—conservation, rewilding, sport and outdoor activities, research.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust will be joined by us and a range of local partner organisations running activities such as bushcraft, art, sport, and scavenger hunts. Whether you are a seasoned explorer or new to nature, there is something for everyone!

Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s Championing Nature is a new programme aimed at creating positive, lasting impact in urban communities through greater connections and engagement with nature. The project involves a programme of free family events during the summer holidays, offering a range of exciting activities to explore and understand the natural world around us. Championing Nature is made possible by Emirates and the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
