These trees were planted a few years ago\, and are needing full size tree tubes fitted to protect them from deer and hare damage. This new woodland will provide connectivity and a wildlife corridor between other bits of woodland. DESCRIPTION:Grab your wellies and drop in to help plant trees as part of the North East Community Forest. Northumberland Wildlife Trust will be leading the event\, and they will provide gloves\, spades\, and the trees\, alongside tips\, tricks and a little tree ID. \nThe event will run from 10:00 to 15:00\, and you’re welcome to drop in for as little or as much of the day as you’d like. \nThere will be tea and coffee available  -but if you plan to come for the whole day please bring your own lunch with you. \nPlease wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions on the day\, and note that the areas we’re planting are often muddy. \nBook your ticket now on the link below to let us know you’re coming\, and ensure that we bring enough equipment for everyone. \nNo experience necessary as we’ll be providing guidance and supervision on the day.
